Comment

In einem comment drückst du deine eigene Meinung zu einem Thema aus und begründest diese mit Argumenten.

1. Vorbereitung

Wenn du einen comment schreibst, musst du meistens deine eigene Meinung zu einem Thema oder einer Aussage begründet darstellen. Bevor du anfängst zu schreiben, musst du dir also erstmal Gedanken über deine eigene Meinung machen!

Wenn du weißt, wie du zu dem Thema stehst, geht es an das Brainstorming : Welche Argumente fallen dir zu dem Thema ein, die deine Meinung stützen? Schreib alles auf! Du solltest am besten 3 Argumente haben - eventuell musst du ein paar Ideen streichen.

Wenn du alle Argumente eingetragen hast, geht es daran die Argumente nach Überzeugungskraft zu ordnen - so legst du die Reihenfolge fest, in der du diese später im Text aufschreibst. 1 ist das schwächste Argument - es kommt als erstes, 3 ist das stärkste Argument, es kommt als letztes.

• Als Beispiel nehmen wir das Thema immigration.

Suche nun Beispiele zu den Argumenten und schreibe sie in die Tabelle.

2. Struktur

Einen comment kann man grob in drei Abschnitte unterteilen

• introduction
• main part
• conclusion

In der introduction führst du in das Thema ein. Hole am Anfang ruhig etwas weiter aus, komm am Ende des comment aber auf den Punkt und schließe mit deiner thesis, also mit deinem Standpunkt ab.

Im main part führst du dann deine Argumente und die Beispiele auf. Es gilt:

Wenn du ein schwaches Gegenargument mit deinem starken Argument entkräftigen kannst, so kannst du das tun. Da dies aber keine discussion ist, solltest du es maximal einmal tun.

In der conclusion fasst du deine Argumente nocheinmal kurz zusammen und bringst deine Meinung auf den Punkt. Hier dürfen auf keinen Fall neue Argumente auftauchen!

3. Schreiben

Beim Schreiben musst du vorallem darauf achten, Abschnitte zu machen. Nach der introduction und jedem Sinnabschnitt im main part (1 Argument pro Abschnitt) musst du entweder eine Zeile freilassen oder die nächste Zeile etwas einrücken.

In der introduction lohnt es sich immer, noch einen Blick in die Aufgabenstellung zu werfen. Meistens kann man die Aussage daraus umgeschrieben mit aufnehmen und als thesis verwenden. Vermeide es, mit Fragen zu enden - in einem comment muss deine Meinung klar werden, auch schon am Anfang.

Fange im main part mit dem schwächsten Argument an und höre mit deinem stärksten Argument auf - so überzeugst du den Leser von deiner Meinung.

In der conclusion greifst du nochmal die Aussage der introduction auf - so hast du einen runden Text der in sich abgeschlossen ist.

introduction

Immigration is a highly discussed topic in Germany, especially since the so-called “refugee crisis” in 2015. Right-wing parties gained power, although thousands of young people welcomed the refugees. This development led to massive debates and somehow split the society. Do these people purposely ignore the positive aspects of immigration?

1st argument: more potential workers

• explanation: more people immigrate to Germany and they want to work
• example: highly qualified workers are rare, and many refugees are able to do these jobs

2nd argument: cultural exchange

• explanation: you learn more about other cultures and countries
• example: in a world that through globalization grows more interconnected everyday, it is important to know about customs from all around the world

3rd argument: it’s the morally right thing to do

• explanation: refugees are fleeing war and they need help – it is written in our Grundgesetz
• example: If we did not help these people, we would break the law. Also, we need to help each other because it’s the human and Christian thing to do

conclusion

In conclusion, it is obvious that the increased workforce is a huge benefit to an economy, in which highly skilled workers are very rare. Moreover, we are growing to a more and more interconnected world and have to support each other. Helping those in need is the most crucial and essential aspect and ignoring so is one of the biggest issues of humanity. Therefore, it is without a doubt that immigration must not be stopped, not only from an economic point of view but also from a moral one.
