How it all started?
Back in 2012 simpleclub started when the co-founders Nico and Alex were still in school. They created learning videos by themselves and uploaded them on YouTube.

But over the years, simpleclub evolved to the leading EdTech company in Germany, with a team of over 130 people. Also the content evolved a lot. And this is how it looks like today...

Jarvis - The scalable content engine.
Jarvis is our self-developed content management system. When we decided to go for the approach of in-house content production, we knew we would have to crack scalability. That's why we built a content engine: Jarvis. With Jarvis, our content creators can create learning content in an object-oriented way, regardless of the playout format (video, exercise, etc.). Through abstraction and reusability, we can easily scale & localize explanations to any format & language
Personalisation of the app
When you first open the app, we ask you a couple of questions: You grade, your state, your schooltype, etc. Based on this information the app gets personalised to you.
Our team has over 130 employees. The largest department of all is our Education department with over 70 people.
